Development of site-specific non-intrusive load monitoring for maximum demand control

Demand-side load management (DSM) requires greater role-play by end-users. To lower the investment for this concept, non-intrusive (NILM) was introduced as solution. However, most of mathematical techniques used in NILM are complex. This may hinder users from actively take part energy effort. paper explores possibilities applying change point detection with help differentiation and application filters. These filters were selected strictly based on site-specific conditions. As implementation, a new practical technique developed paper. It found that technique, despite its simplicity it can identify electrical equipment which added significant demand. The performance to be satisfactory compared results reported other researchers.
